Promotion Manager

Promote whole classes to the next form at the end of the year. Scoresheets are archived first so no results are ever lost.

Current period: First Semester · 2026/2027

What happens: all current scoresheets are copied into the archive under First Semester · 2026/2027 and then cleared so teachers start the new period blank. Generated and published report cards are never changed — they stay online until you delete them from Saved Reports. FORM 3 classes you mark as GRADUATED are moved to the Graduated list — their scores, reports and records remain accessible.

Destination classes that don't exist yet are still valid — they are created implicitly when students are moved.

Scoresheet Archive

Every time the semester or year changes in Reports Config — or when you promote classes here — the current scoresheet table is archived under the period that is ending, then cleared.

How Promotion Works

Students are matched by programme + class and moved to the destination class you choose.
Form level is derived from the destination class (e.g. FORM 1A → FORM 2A).
FORM 1 arrivals who move to FORM 2 are migrated into the continuing-students list automatically.
FORM 3 classes you set to GRADUATED are moved to the Graduated list — their archived scores, saved reports and records stay accessible.
Published report cards are left exactly as they are.
If a destination class isn't listed yet, its closest match is suggested — pick it or choose another.
